How to Apply

Registration and admissions:

Education should be accessible, and all community members should be able to benefit from high-quality education. The Sheffield Private School welcomes children from all communities and ability groups. The school has an inclusive admissions policy that gives national and expatriate students access to a unique, culturally relevant curriculum.  The curriculum has the English National Curriculum at its core, enhanced by an enriching extra-curricular programme which provides opportunity for every child to succeed and to become a confident lifelong learner. As an international school, we understand the need to provide the highest possible level of education which, most importantly, allows world-wide opportunities for our students. Our students progress on to a wide range of universities and higher education institutes across the world.

Local Schools in Dubai

All students transferring from another school in Dubai, regardless of the grade, require a KHDA attest TC from the previous school.

Overseas and other Emirates

All Overseas School transfers and transfers from schools of other Emirates (not Dubai) joining Year 3 and above at the beginning of the academic year MUST submit to TSPS Admissions Office with a copy of the Transfer /Leaving Certificate stamped/attested as per the requirements of the KHDA, before joining the school. The offer is subject to submission of all required documents and payment of seat confirmation fee. In the case of failure to comply with required documents/fee within the prescribed period, TSPS reserves the right to cancel the seat without any further communication. Once you have received an offer, you have five working days in which to reply. To accept the offer, you will need to return the required documentation as detailed in your offer letter and pay the initial deposit. Once this is in place, your child will be enrolled for the forthcoming academic year.

If your child has been accepted at TSPS, an offer letter will be emailed to you detailing the next steps and the documentation required.

Along with the offer letter, there will be an Acceptance of Place Form, an Indemnity and Consent Form and a Medical Form. All of these must be completed and returned along with the payment to reserve the seat and copies of the documents listed below:

  • Photocopies of the student’s and parent valid residence visa;
  • Photocopies of the student’s and parent valid Emirates ID;
  • Photocopies of the student’s and parent valid Passport;
  • Photocopies of the student’s Birth Certificate, in English or Arabic;
  • One copy of the student’s vaccination record;
  • Original Transfer certificate.
